Synopsis:

White women and institutionally supported Eurocentric beauty standards, have influenced and dominated the world, especially the "West" since White colonization(s) and racialized-enslavement. But, Afrocentric ideals of beauty have always been present and have influenced the world just as much, often as the counter-culture to colonization and White Beauty dogmas. Yet, African and African-Diaspora women are often not given-credit on a "mainstream" or educational level for their changing, diversifying, and broadening human female beauty ideals. And at worst, Black women were for centuries across continents and still are mocked for the very same features, that are now worn and desired-after as trends on non-black women.
